Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
Our Trip Home
We praise the Lord for supplying so we could finish the parsonage before we left. It was a very busy and hectic time for us. The day we left, I had a meeting with Pastor Reuel, Brother Adilson, one of the lawyers, and a friend of the lawyer, concerning the case and other matters of the old church building. We finished up at 8 a.m., then I went home, picked up the bags and one of the boys, and headed to the airport to catch the flight. Kelly and the other children were picked up by another lady from the church. It was good to see most of the church members at the airport, but there were also a lot of mixed feelings. These are the people we have spent and shared the last seven years of our life with. We had a good trip home, and Granddad and Nana (Kelly’s parents) were at the airport to pick us up in Atlanta. It was good to see them and spend the next two weeks with them before moving to Maryville, TN.
We are grateful to BMTM (Baptist Missionary Transportation Ministries), in Missouri, for the use of one of their vehicles. Bro. Eric, his family, and this ministry are a big blessing to us. For those of us who are out of the country for 4+ years at a time, it is good to be able to pick up a vehicle with full insurance and assistance.
We are now settled down in Maryville, TN. A church (Mount Tabor Baptist Church) fixed up and furnished their parsonage for us. All that they did for our family was unbelievable, considering the church family did not even know us. Pastor Williams and his family, who we knew before he took this church, have a big heart for missions. We are so thankful for this church. God has been so good to us in supplying all our needs, as He states in His word.
As soon as we got back to the States we hit the road running. We have already been in 10 churches. And once again God is supplying all that we need as we travel back and forth. It has been good to be able to put faces to names of people we have corresponded with and get reacquainted with others. We are working on contacting the churches to set a time when we can come by and personally give an update of what God has done, and our plans on returning to the field in 2016. You can contact me by the following numbers: Cell 423-667-3941 or Vonage 706-956-4868. You can also contact me by the emails that are located in the left column of this letter.
We have submitted all the documents necessary to try convincing the judge to freeze the case. We are now waiting to see what the response from the judge will be. As soon as we find out I will send out an update so you will know all that is taking place. I want to thank all of you for your prayers and concern for us.
Thank you once again for all you do for us, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Stephen, Kelly, Philip, Hannah, Joshua, and Benjamin
