March/April 2015

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,

to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works,

but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus

before the world began,” 2Timothy 1:9

As I sit here thinking back at all that God has done in the past two months, I stand amazed at His kindness and His faithfulness.  As we have travelled and visited the churches that have faithfully partnered with us prayerfully and financially, and have had the opportunity to be in several new churches, it has been of great encouragement to us.  Even though the traveling part can be tiring and the roads long, it has been refreshing to be able to visit with the church families and pastors.  God has allowed us to be in 29 churches in the past 3 months and graciously taken care of us through the 9 states and 14+ thousand miles already traveled.  God is so good all of the time.  I know that there are many supporting churches that we have not made it to yet, but we are working on that.  If you would like to contact me please feel free to call at 423-667-3941or you can email me from the email addresses on the stationery.

We have also had the privilege to meet some very special missionaries at conferences, who have been a blessing to us, and special speakers that God has used to encourage and challenge our hearts.

As most of you already know, Kelly and I will be flying down to Brazil on the 9th of May to be there for the court hearing on the 12th; then we will be returning on the 18th.  We had asked for the judge to freeze the case, but he chose to proceed with it.  According to Brazilian law, the judge will now hear all the witnesses and then make his ruling.  This judge has yet to rule anything in our favor.  Please be praying for us.  We know that God has a plan for us in all of this.  I have been reminded many times of Proverbs 21:1 “The king's (judge’s) heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.”  What a wonderful thing it would be to see this judge, along with those that have accused us, come to know Christ as their personal Savior.

The family is doing well.  We have been able to take some time here and there to be with our families, and this has been special as well.

Thank you once again for all you do for us, and we look forward to seeing you.
