Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Guarantã do Norte
On December the 5th, we made another trip up to Guarantã do Norte to look at a house to rent. When we got there we contacted the person who was helping us and took a look at the house. It sure looked good in pictures but was a bit dissapointing in real life. As we discussed the situation we came to the conclusion that we could make it work. But before renting it we decided to drive up and down the streets to see if we could find another house. We did find another one a few blocks away and we were able to rent that one. The city of Guarantã is growing fast. That is why it has been difficult to find a house to rent but Praise the Lord we found a house that would suit our families needs better. So we are excited because this is a step closer in starting the new church plant.
We plan to load up the truck on the 16th of January with our move and head out on the 17th. Please remember to pray for us as on the 15th Philip and Hannah will be returning to the US for college.
We continue to keep busy with the maintanence here at camp. We have takled some bigger tasks to try to help things run better for the upcoming camps in 2017. One of the tasks has been to replace all the old worn out and full of holes screens. This has been a bit of a challenge since the termites have enjoyed some of the wood. Another bigger task has been to try to repair some of the water leakes in the cement water holding tank. We reinforced it by running three steel rings around it. Now we still need to get inside to repair the crackes and clean it out. It has been raining a bit which puts us a little behind with the regular mowing and other ground work. But with the whole family working we have been able to keep it up.
Benjamin is doing really well. We have discovered that certain food will cause some flare ups but he is doing very well. Thank you for your prayers for him.
We are also excited that Philip and Hannah will be coming down to spend Christmas and New Years with us. They will arrive on the 22nd and then head back to the US on the 15th of January. We are looking forward to some good time together and also the opportunity to take them to Guarantã do Norte to get to know the city where we will be living and working.
We would like to thank each one of you for your thoughtfulness towards us with the extra gifts sent to us. May the Lord richly bless you for your sacrifices.
From our family to yours,
We wish you and yours a very
MERRY CHRISTMAS & Happy NEW YEAR
Stephen, Kelly, Philip, Hannah, Joshua, and Benjamin
