As 2023 is about to come to a close and you look back on the year, it is amazing to see what God has done in so many ways. We are so grateful for the way He has taken care of all our needs as He promised, and how He has blessed the ministry here.
In the month of November, we had another couple from the church who finally got married after many years of living together. We had been praying for this for a long time. She was always ready, but he was not. Well on Thanksgiving Day they made it official, and it made our Thanksgiving all the more special.
The second Sunday of December is Bible Day here in Brazil. So, we always have a special day and encourage everyone to bring visitors. The person that brings the most visitors wins a Bible. This year we incorporated our Christmas program on the same Sunday, since we had families that were going to be traveling. Everything went wonderfully, and we had a full house. Wilian won the Bible for most visitors, and the children and adolescents did a great job with the Christmas program. The Gospel was presented, and we were encouraged.
Another special blessing, we have had is the construction project is finished. We were actually able to accomplish more than we thought, even changing the existing tile on the bathroom floors. We also installed an air conditioner in the Sunday school room for which Kelly is very thankful! Thank you to everyone that helped with this project.
We are now in the preparation for our watchnight service. We will have a meal at 9:30 pm. After cleanup, we have our service and then pray in the New Year. It seems like we are going to have a good number of participants. Pray that we will be able to present the Gospel, the lost will be saved, and Christians will be challenged in their service to the Master.
All our children are doing well. They are staying busy with their work, church activities, and school. We are so proud of each one of them. We continue to ask you to continue praying for Kelly’s mom, Mary, as she battles cancer.
We would like to thank all of you that made our Christmas a little more special with cards, emails, and Christmas love offerings. We pray each of you had a wonderful Christmas. Now we want to wish you a New Year filled with the richest blessings from above.
