Amid so much uncertainty, it is good to know that GOD is the same yesterday, today and forever, and that HE is in control of everything. God continues to work in and through us here in Guarantã.

On September 7th, we had a baptismal service at the church. I built a baptistry out of plywood and lined it with plastic. We had five people get baptized. It was a wonderful moment, and we are praising the Lord for the ones that took this next step.

We have also continued with Bible studies as the Lord allows and opens doors. We have had some finish the in-home Bible studies, and it has been rewarding to see how God is working in their lives. Pray with us that the Lord would continue to open doors in the homes of people for Bible studies.

Thank you for praying for Adairio’s salvation. On September 18th we went out to where he lives, which is about an hour and a half away from town. After presenting the Gospel to him, he bowed his head and prayed out loud in front of everyone, confessing Jesus Christ as his Savior. It was a special moment, and we are now praying for his growth as a new Christian.

The month of October we were able to finish a marriage counseling class with a couple from the church that are going to get married now. We have a big issue with people just living together rather than get married. Once they are saved, we show them the importance of getting married. This is a young couple that have three young boys. They are currently gathering all the needed paperwork that is required to get married.

The upcoming two months are going to be busy as well, but know God is going to do some great things. We have a special evangelistic outreach planned and we have been encouraged to see the people here excited about it as well.

In closing I would like to ask you to pray for Mr. Aelson. His wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson are four of the five that were baptized. We have shared the gospel to him more than once. Pray for his salvation.
